Around 2240 Sri Lankan Muslims have been selected to participate this year's Haj Pligrimage due to take place in Mecca,Saudi Arabia according to reports.Accordingly the first batch of Sri Lanka's Haj Pilgrims comprising of 62 had already arrived in Jeddah,Saudi Arabia .
Due to the development activities carried out in Mecca these days the pilgrims selected for this year's Haj Pilgrimage had been reduced according to sources.
