President Rajapaksha Conveyed His Sympathies On Japanese Earth quake
President Mahinda Rajapaksha has contacted the Japanese Ambassador in Colombo this evening and conveyed his sympathies and support after the powerful earthquake and tsunami which had strucked Northeastern Japan this morning.

The Ministry Of External Affairs has been set up a 24 hour Information Service for those seeking Information on Sri Lankans live in Japan following the powerful Earthquake and Tsunami which had struck ed Japan early today.Still no information has been received on the whereabouts of Sri Lankans lives in Japan due to the power failure and Mobile Network failure experienced in Tokyo and suburbs following the quake.Public has appealed to contact following numbers for information on Sri Lankans in Japan.The Numbers are 0772267929 and 0115743362.
