Authorities Had Reduced The Daily PCR Tests -Medical Lab Technologists Association

 Authorities are again reduced the PCR Tests performs daily and attempting to show that the Corona pandamic is under control claims the president of the Medical Laboratory Technologists Association Ravi Kumudesh .

According to Kumudesh during last week Medical laboratories in the country had only  performed 55,000 PCR Tests  in six days ,At the time country needs to perform atleast 50,000 PCR Tests daily due to the spreading of new Corona variants including Delta variant .

This is the repeat of the drama shown by authorities last March when they had reduced the number of PCR Tests performed at the peak of Corona cases then and shown the pandamic was under control   Kumudesh had stated .

At the moment less then 20,000 PCR Tests are being  performed Daily he has further said .

39 Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (27)

 A total of 39 Corona deaths had been reported yesterday (27) ,Increasing the total number of  Corona deaths reported so far to 2944 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 27 males and 12 females had died due to Covid Pneumonia and Complications of Non Communicable diseases they have suffered from caused by Corona infection the Center has stated .

Out of the deceased 26 were of the over 60 age group .

1767 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (27)

 Another 1767 Corona Positives had been reported in the country yesterday 1(27) increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 253,618 according to National Covid-19 prevention Center .

At the moment  31,715 corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals  and quarantine centers
