Another Three Hour Long Island wide Power Cut For Tomorrow(15)

 Due to the shortage of fuel to generate electricity , Island wide power cuts are scheduled to be implemented   in 20 zones throughout the island according to Public Utilities Commission .

Accordingly 3 hours and 45 minute Power cut is scheduled to be implemented for 12  Zones ranging from A to L and 3 hour power cut is scheduled to be implemented   in 08 zones known as P to W

Sixty Four Students In Valachchanai Primary School Hospitalized Due To A Food Positioning

 Sixty Four students attached to  Uththuchennai Primary School in Valachchanai  had hospitalized today (14)  in critical  condition due to a food positioning according to Valachchanai Police .

Accordingly sixty four students had been admitted to Welikanda Hospital in Polonnauwa District  after consuming rice and Soya meet curry provided them as  lunch in the school .These students had been admitted to the hospital with the symptoms  of vomiting and faint  according to school authorities .

10 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (14)

 A total number of 10 Corona Deaths had been reported in the country today (14) ,Increasing the  total number of Corona deaths that  had been reported so far to 16,407 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS ) .

Accordingly 09 males an 01 female had died died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated. Out of the deceased  08 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years It has been raveled .

Another 345 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (14)

 Another 345 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (14) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 656,386 according to Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly 21,018 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and  under home care system the unit has stated . 

Only 3023 PCR Tests and 2109 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (14).
