A Programme To Sell Eggs For Cheeper Prices

 The Ministry Of Agriculture along with Egg Producers Associations had launched a joint programme  on selling an Egg for Rs.55 at  Economic centers and selected places in Colombo and Ganpaha Districts (Western Province).

This Programme has been launched due to the price of an Egg had risen to Rs.65 recently .

No More Disconnections Of Power Supply in Future -Electricitry Board Trade Unions

 Even If there is an  Electricity Bill hike in January as mentioned by Minister Of Power ,No employee attached to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will visit the  houses and institutions  that avoiding paying the bills to disconnect the Electricity connection according to the CEB Trade Unions .

According to the Joint Trade Union Alliance of Ceylon Electricity Board if there's an Electricity bill hike in January a Public anger will cause problems for CEB Employees who are visiting houses and institutions to disconnect the Power supply .

Transportation Of Vegetables By Train Had Begun

 The Transportation of Vegetables from Outstation areas  to Colombo Fort had begun yesterday (27)after a lapse of 23 years according to the All Ceylon Economic Centers Forum . five special carriages had been fixed to the Train allocated  for this purpose the Forum has stated .

Accordingly an Intercity Train will transport  vegetables from outstation areas to Super Markets and Maning Market in  Colombo fort.This programme is being implemented according to a proposal submitted by President Ranil Wikramasinghe during presenting the Mini budget proposals to the  parliament.
