Twenty Two Persons Were Injured Due To Bus Collision

 Twenty two Persons including Twenty one students and a Teacher had been injured and admitted to the Padukka Provincial Hospital after the Bus they were travelling  in colliding with another Bus at Thunnana area in Padukka(Colombo) yesterday (15) according to the Police.

The incident occurred when a Bus had collided with the rear side of another pssanger bus travelling from  Narammala to Homagama  area it has been revealed.Eighteen out of the Twenty One who were  injured and hospitalized had received minor injuries and  three of the injured students had been transferred to Homagama Base Hospital for further treatment Police had stated.

Padukka Police had arrested the driver of the Bus responsible for the accident over the incident 

Health Workers In North Provice Baanned Of Using Social Media

 The  Health Authorities of the Northern Province had banned Health workers in the province of using social media platforms during working hours according to the Provincial Director General of Health services Dr.T,SatyamurthiThis decision has been taken as a result of the complaints receiveed from the Public he had stated.

However Health workers can use Mobile phones during working hours the Provincial Director General Of Health Sefvices had stressed .
