A Doctor And A Family Health Officer Had Been Transferred Over Vaccinating A 12 Year Old Girl With Corona Vaccine "Pfizer "

 The doctor in charge of The Corona vaccination center at Kokkavil Primary Collage in Chilaw,Puttalam District (North Western Province ) and Family Health Officer attached to the Vaccination Center had been transferred to the Corona Treatment Center at Puttalam Base Hospital today (26) with immediate effect by the health authorities  over injecting  a "Pfizer " Ani Corona vaccine dose to a 12 year old girl by violating the Corona vaccination policy. .

Although Ministry of Health has not yet been  approved to vaccinate those who are under 18 years of age  .the Doctor in charge of the vaccination center had vaccinate  his 12 year old daughter it has been revealed

Soon after revealing on the incident the Health authorities in Puttalam District had transferred the Doctor and the family health officer who had supported the doctor to vaccinate his daughter according to reports ,

4602 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (26)

 Another 4602 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (26) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 412,370 according to the Ministry of Health ,

Accordingly at the moment 53,353 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers .

Daily Corona Deaths Had Been Exceeded 200 Today (26)

 The highest number of Corona Deaths recorded On a single day had been reported today (26) as 209 Corona related  deaths had  been confirmed by the Director General Of Health Service (DGHS) .This is the first time that the daily Corona deaths in Sri Lanka had been exceeded over 200 since the pandamic began last year ,

Accordingly 108 males and 101 females had been reported today in the country the DGHS has announced ..With this the total number of corona deaths reported so far had been increased to 8157 it has been reported ,

Out of the deceased 163 were over 60 years of age and 46 were of the ages 30-59 it has been revealed ,
