Two Fires Erupted At Bagawanthalawa And AmbalanGoda Due To Hot Temperatures
Two fires had been erupted in Bopath
Thalawa Mountain of the Western slope area at the Government farm of Bopathwatiya area at Bagawanthalawa ,Nuwara Eliya and Madampa reserve at Thalgasgoda area ,AmbalanGoda due to the high temperatures prevailing in .
The fire erupted at Bawagawanthalawa last noon (21) is being doused by the police and residents of the area it has been reported .The fire erupted after someone lighting the fire under hot weather conditions according to sources .
The fire at Madampa reserve has been erupted this morning and there's a delay of dousing the fire according to residents of the area .
A heavy smoke is currently spreading in the area due to the fire they have stated .

Around 38 Essential Drugs Are Currently Out Of Stock In Government Hospitals -All Ceylon Nurses Union
Around 38 Essential Medicinal drugs
are out of stock in Government Hospitals Island Wide and in the Medical Supplies Division (MSD) these days according to the secretary of the All Ceylon Nurses Union H.S.B Madiwatta.
Essential Drugs prescribe for Cancer, Mental ,Neuro,Heart ,Diabetes drugs are among these out of stock drugs and and patients are being faced enormous difficulties due to this situation Mr.Madiwatta has stressed .
Commonly used drug Aspirin 75 Mili Gramme is out of stock in Both government Hospitals and Medical supplies Division since few weeks it has been revealed.
"Government had blacklisted the pharmaceutical company "Pharm Ace ' from which Former Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne had imported 400 varieties of drugs to local Hospitals. As a result these drugs too are now at low supply level and soon they will be reported as out of stock drugs items . Still Health Ministry Has not taken steps to import these drugs supplied by Pharm Ace "company through another company. As some other drugs too are getting out of stock government should have taken steps to import these drugs as soon as possible before the situation getting worse "he has stated .

Ministry Of Health To Introduce Health Corners For Every Workplace And NCD Testing Facilities For Banks And Supermarkets
Ministry of Health has planned to intro
duce health corners for every government institution to provide the employees test facilities for non communicable diseases free of charge with effect from early this March .
Accordingly Health corners will be provided the State institute employees a chance to getting tested of non communicable diseases including Blood Preassure , Cholesterol, Blood sugar which are on rhe increase in the country , free of charge.
Some private pharmaceutical companies are assisting in this effort according to the Ministry .
Also Health Ministry Has planned to introduce these Testing facilties to Banks and supermarkets island wide with the aim of providing testing facilities like Blood Preassure tests and BMI tests for customers free of charge to identify these diseases earlier and minimise spreading of them . The Ministry has already requested from these institutions to implement this as soon as possible Deputy Director General of Health Services (Non Communicable diseases )Dr.Champika Wikramasinghe has stated during a Function organized in this regard at BMICH Colombo last Tuesday (18).
Addressing the event Dr.Wikramasinghe has stressed that already Keals Supermarket Chain has agreed to implement this in.their supermarkets soon.
