Government Decided To Abolish Gazette Notification On Controlling Rice Prices

 Government ha d decided today (27) to  remove  the Price control mechanism  imposed on retails and wholesale prices of Rice and  abolish the Gazette notification issued in this regard with immediate effect.

Cabinet has also approved a  proposal to import 100,000 metric tones of Rice to avoid the  increasing  of Rice prices in the local market .

51 Corona Deaths Reported Today (27)

 A  Total of  51 Corona deaths had been reported in the Country today (27) increasing the total number of Corona deaths  Reported so far to 12,731 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 29 males and 22  females had died due to Corona infection DGHS has stated .

Out of the deceased  41 were over 60 years of age and 10 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years it has been reported .

983 Corona Poitives Reported Today (27)- 9997 "PCR " Tests Had Been Performed Yesterday (26)

 Another 983 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (27) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 514,592 according to Epidemiology Unit .

A total of 9997 "PCR " Tests had been performed Yesterday (26) it has been revealed ,

Accordingly 46,517  Corona positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated ,

Another 812 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals today according to Epidemiology Unit ,
