Awissawella ,Kosgama And Ruwanwella Areas Had Been Isolated

 Health Authorities had taken steps to isolate Awissawella ,Kosgama and Ruwanwella areas with immediate effect since last evening (24)as a result of identifying a large number of Corona positives from.these areas .

Accordingly 99 Corona positives had been identified from Awissawella area last Wednesday (23) and another 31, positives had been reported last noon it has been reported .The majority of these positives are attached to a Factory at  Serthawaka Economic Trade Zone in Awissawella sources have stated .

686 Corona positives Had Been Discharged Yesterday (24)

 A total of 686 Corona positives had been discharged. Yesterday (24)After full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona Positives discharged from hospitals after full recovery so far had risen to 30,568 the Unit has stated .

588 Corona Positives Reported Today (24)

 A total of 588 Corona Positives had been reported today (24)in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 39,231 According to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly all the Corona positives  reported today were contacts of the previous positives and the number of Corona positives reported from.thd Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons corons clusters so far have been increased   to 35,548 ..

At the moment 8473 Corona Positives are being treated at Government Hosptitals and treatment  Centers it has been revealed .

One Corona Death Reported Today (24)

 Another Corona Death has been reported today (24)in the country increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 185 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly a 60 year old male resident of Agalawatte area has died due to Septicemia caused by Corona infection on Admission to Pimbura Base Hospital  the unit has stated .
