A 28 Year Old Female Had Died After Being Drifted Away By Sea Waves

A 28 year old female had died after being drifted away by rough sea waves whilst bathing in Sea at galbokka sea coastal area in Kosgoda (Southern Province )with her family members according to Police .

Although she was rescued and hospitalized hospital staff couldn't save her life it has been revealed ,

Three Persons Died Due To Tiper -Motor Car Collision

Three persons were killed and five others had been injured and hospitalized due to a head on collision between Tiper Truck and a Motor car at ekgaloya area in Damana,Ampara today(16).

The five injured persons were admitted to Ampara Base hospital for trearment it has been reported .

The incident occurred when the tiper which was travelling from Damana to Siyambalanduwa thad collided with the motor car travelling From Siyambalanduwa,to damana area .The bodies of the deceased were lied down in Ampara and damana hospitals.

Another 690 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (16)

A total of 690 Corona positives had been reported today (16),Increasing the total number of Corona positives to 596,347 according to Epidemiology Unit.

At the moment 12,926 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

Only 7104 PCR Tests and 3513 Rapid Antigen tests had been performed in the country yesterday (15) it has been revealed .

Another 14 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (16) increasing the toral number of Corona deaths to 15,211 accirding to Direcror General Of Health Services (DGHS).
