An Island Wide Curfew Has Been Implemented since 10 p.m today untll

An Island Wide Curfew has been implemented from 10 p.m today(30 ) until 4 a.m on Monday according to the Government .

The Curfew will be re imposed on Monday from 10 p.m to 4 a.m  until 03rd of June and it is   scheduled to be imposed in full time basis on 04th  and 5th of June (Poson day ).

from Next Saturday onward the Island wide curfew will be imposed from 10 p.m until 4 a.m in next morning until further  notice.However the Inter Provincial transport services cannot be traveled between Colombo and Gamapha . 

Government Imposed A Seven Hour Curfew Island Wide

Government has imposed Police curfew again at 9 P.M today (23) for the third day in a row

following the Multiple blasts carried out by militant group on Easter Sunday.

Curfew will be lifted tomorrow morning at 4 A.M .

Meanwhile security forces are reported as carrying out search operations island wide .

Government has decided to impose a police curfew again island wide from 8 p.m tonight (22) until 4 a.m

tomorrow (23)morning due to the tense situation occurred following yesterday's multiple  blasts the Government Information Department has announced  today.

Government has suddenly imposed a curfew last evening around 3 p.m following the blasts and lifted the curfew this morning (22) at 6 a.m .However   most  of  the employees in the government sector have not reported to work until this noon it has been reported.

Police Curfew Imposed Island Wide -Investigations Underway To Arrest Those Who Are Responsible For The Attacks

A police curfew is being  cutrently

imposed island wide until  6 a.m tomorrow morning(22) following the eight blasts occurred during today (21)government has announced.

The curfew has been imposed by the Police Department under the instructions of Inspector General Of Police Pujitha Jayasundara .The decision to impose police curfew has been taken during the Security council meeting held this noon under the patronage of President Maithripala sirisena who is also holds the Ministry of Defence .

Police and tri forces chiefs had participated the meeting and it has been decided to set up a national operation center  for carrying out raids to arrest those who were responsible  for todays attacks .

Around nine foreign Nationals had been killed and another four had been hospitalized due to these explosions .
