Police Had Launched An Investigation To Arrest Three Robbers Over Steeling A Valuable Gem

Kandy Hedquarters Police had launched a special investigation to arrest three persons who had stolen Rs. 8 million worth valuable Blue gem from a Gem center at the Peradeniya road in Kandy which selling Gems for foreigners .

Three robbers had

stolen the Blue Gem by replacing it with a fake Blue Gem by showing that they were Millionaire businessman and two brokers Police had stated.

The robbers had somehow taken the details of the shape and size of the Valuable Gem with the help of another person and done this robbery Police had stated.Police had already identified the three robbers with the assistance of CCTV Cameras it has been reported.

STF Had Arrested 07 Persons Witg Arms And Drugs

The Special Police Task Force (STF) Personal had arrested seven persons including the notorious criminal "Malliya' who is responsible for many crimes with a haul of drugs and Arms in their possession during a raid carried out at Kadar nana watte in Borella (Colombo district this morning (21).

During this raid which was carried out in wee hours of this morning by a Police team comprising of 70 police officers ,had taken into custody a stock.of arms including 08 swords and a haul of drugs including 08 swords it has been reported .

Inter University Students Federation Appointed A New Convener

The Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) had appointed Madushan Indrajith as the new convener of the Federation replacing the present convener Wasantha Mudalige , Inter University Students' Federation - Wikipedia

The newly appointed IUSF Convener is a student attached to the Faculty of Ecology at University of Peradeniya and his appointment was made at a meeting held in Rjarata University today (21)
