Due to the rising prices in the world market Local Milk Powder Companies have requested the permission from consumer affairs authority to increase 400 gramme Milk Powder Pack by Rs.50 and 1 Killo Gramme of Milk Powder Pack by Rs.100.According to the Milk Powder Companies they have lost profit heavily during last six months due to the rising prices of milk powder in the world market .even government has failed to keep the promise on increasing milk powder prices at the end of the year sources said.as authorities are silence over the issue milk powder companies have decided to increase their milk powder prices with effect from January next year.
