Ravana Balaya Had Complaint To The Bribery Commission To Investigate On MP's Taken Money From The Perpetual Treasuries
"Ravana Balaya" organization has
yesterday (11) made a complaint to the Bribery Commission to investigate over the group of Parliamenrarians who have accepted money from an institution belongs to the Perpetual Treasuries Limited which is the main suspect of the Central Bank Bond scam.
More than 100 parliamentarians are being identified as aceepted money from the above mentioned institute for various purposes.

Two Army Soldiers Were Killed And Another Person Injured Due To A Three Wheeler-Tipper Collision
Two Army soldiers were killed on tbe
spot and another person was critically injured and hospitalized after the Three wheeler they were travelling colliding with a Tipper truck at galewela in puwakpitiya area of the Dambulla-Kurunagala main road last evening(11).
The injured person was admitted to the Galewela provincial hospital for treatment and later transferred to the Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
The deceased were identified as an 22 year old Army slodiers resided in yatigalpotta area in Galewela who were on the way home on leave .They were attached to an Army camp in diyathalawa area.
The accident occurred when the Three wheeler attempting to overtake a motor car it has been revealed.Police have arrested the Tipper truck driver over the incident.

Money Belongs To Two Private Institutes Had Stolen At Ududumbara
More than Rs. Five million beoongs to
two private institutes in Mahiyanganaya area had stolen by a group of an unidentified persons arrived in from a van while the money was transporting to Ududumbara area by a private security firm yesterday(11) at galewela area.
The robbers have threatened the security officers carried the money by showing a pistol and stolen the money it has been reported.
Ududumbara Police have later recovered the Van belongs to the robbers which left out in pallekele area.

Postal Workers Have Launched A Continuous Strike
Postal Workers attached to the 23 Postal Trade Unions had launched an Island wide continuous strike since 4 p.m this evening (11) by demanding solutions for their service demands it has been reported.

MP Dayasiri Jayasekare Has Given A Four Hour Statement To The CID
MP Dayasiri Jayasekare has today (11) given a four hour long statement to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) over a charge leveled against him on accepting a Rs.one million money cheque from the Perpetual Treasuries Limited which is the main suspect of the Central Bank Bond scam.
He had arrived in the CID Headquarters in Colombo Fort this morning as he was asked and left this evening after giving the statement.
MP Jayasekare who had resigned from the National Government recently with another 15 Sri Lanka Freedom Party MP's not appeared before the CID previously when he was asked to appear for a statement.

An Elephant Cub Has Died In Kantale
An Elephant Cub around three years old has died at a paddy field in Samagipura,Kantale last evening (11) believes to be due to a worm problem according to reports.
The efforts made by the veterinary Surgeons and the Wildlife officials attached to the Wildlife Office in Mahaweli Zone since last morning (11) failed as the Cub died in the evening.

A Person Was Arrested While Transporting A Stock Of Kerala Cannabis
Puliyankulama Police have arrested a 51 year old person while carrying a stock of Kerala Cannabis weighing 8.560 Kilo Grammes in a Bus traveling Jaffna to Kataragama last night (10) near Puliyankulama Police Station in Vavuniya .
Police have recovered the stock of Kerala Cannabis carried by the suspect which hidden inside a two suspected luggage's in the Bus .The estimated value of the stock of Kerala Cannabis taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is around Rs.1.8 million it has been revealed.
According to the Police .The suspect had purchased the stock of Kerala Cannabis from a Cannabis smuggler in Jaffna and transported to Kataragama at the time of his arrest.
The suspect is due to be produced before the Vavuniya Magistrate Court.

A Female Was ARRESTED With A Stock Of Gold Jewelry Brought To The Country Illegally
A 54 year old Sri Lankan female was arrested by the Airport Customs officers with a stock of Gold Jewelry illegally brought to the country worth around Rs.8 million at the Katunayake,Bandaranaike International Airport in wee hours of this morning(11).
The suspected female who is a resident of Warakapola area and arrived at the Airport from Dubai hidden the stock of Gold Jewelry weighing around 1.300 Kilo Grammes in her cloths it has been revealed.
