Government is planning to bring New existing laws to reduce the current Marriage Age from 18 to 16 Additional Solicitor General Palitha Fernando said today.Addressing a Workshop conducted by the Child Protection Authority Titled "National Jouranalist Alliance for the Protection Of Children" says Marriage of the above 16 will be made with the consent of their Parents.Under the Present Sri Lankan Marriage Law those above 18 Years can get Married without the Consent with their Parents.
