Bakery Owners To Increase The Prices Of Bread ,Bakery Products And Cake From Monday

 All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association has decided to increase the prices of Bread ,Bakery Products and Cakes with effect from next Monday (23) .

Accordingly the price of a loaf of Bread will be infreasex by RS.5 ,The price of Bakery products including Rolls and Patty will be increased by Rs.10 and a kilo Gramme of a Cake to be invreasec by Rs.10 according to the Bakery Owbers Association .

These prices are scheduled to be increased due to the rising prices of Fuel and Gas the Asdiciation has stated .

Around 79 Towns And Roads In The Country Had Been Closed Due To The Closure Of Shops Volantarily

 Around 79 towns and roads throughout the island had  bern vacated  Upto  yesterday (19) as a result of the closure of shops in those cities volantarily by the traders to curb the spread of Corona virus .

Towns and roads in many districts in the island including those in Hikkaduwa,Gampaha , Kurunagala kilinochchi and  Colombo had been vacated during the past week it has been reported .

Traders association in many areas had decided to close down shops and trade stalls excluding Petrol sheds ,pharmacies and medical centers  for a week or two week period to  curb the spreading of Corona  virus .

186 Corona Deaths Were Reported Today (19)

 Another 186 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (19) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 6790  the Director General of Health Services had announced ,

Accordingly 111 males and 75 females had  died due to the corona infection ,Out of the deceased 147 were of the ages over 60 years and 35 were belonged to the age group 30 -60 ,There were 4 deaths of under 30 years old ,

3806 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today

 A total of 3806 Corona positives had been identified in the country today (19) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 373165 according ii Ministry Of Health 

 .At the moment 47,661 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals and Quarantine Center it has been revered     

Chief Prelates Of Asgiriya And Malawatte Chapters Had Requested President To Lockdown The Country

 The chief prelates of Asgiriya and Malawathu chapters had today (19)  requested the President Gotabaya Rajapaskhe to listn to Medical specialists and take steps  to lockdown the country atleast for a week period to prevent the spreading of Corona virus .

As the Public is facing enormous difficulties as  a result of the current Corona pandemic  Government should take an immediate action to lockdown the country to prevent a  prevent further chaos Chief prelates had stated .Both Prelates of Asgiriya and Malawatte chapters had praised the ongoing Corona vaccination programme in the country's ,
