State Minister Susil Premjayantha Has Been Removed From His Ministerial Portfolio

State Minister of Education Reforms ,Open Universities and Distance Learning Promotion Susil PremJayanth has been removed from his Ministerial Portfolio with immediate effect by the President Gotabaya Rajapakshe , 

The state minister had been removed from his post over criticizing the Government at a open market in Colombo .Soon after the announcement  was made regarding the removal of Minister PremJanathais portfolio Minister himself was seen emptying his room at the ministry and leaving house from a trishaw .,

Authorities Are Planning To Increase Water Bills Of Consumers Using over 30 Units Of Water

 Government is considering   whether to increase the Water bills of consumers who are using over 30 units of water according to Minister of Water drainage Vasudeva Nanayakkare .

However there will be no increase of water charges this year Minister has stated ,Minister has requested Water Board officials to check the  possibility of providing concession for  the first 15 units of  consumers who are using 30 units of water monthly .

18 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (04)

 Another 18 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (04) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths that had been reported so far to 15,055 the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) has stated .

Accordingly 10 males and 08 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 10 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .Another 03 were under 30 years of age it has been reported .

629 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (04)

 A total of 629 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (04) Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 588,929 according to Epidemiology Unit ,Out of these positives 09 were foreign arrivals it has been announced.

At the moment 12,603 Corona Positives are being treated at Quarantine Centers ,Hospitals and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

Only 6652 PCR tests and 2050 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (03) it has been reported.
