Air Port Custom Officers Arrested A Sri Lankan With Six Pieces Of Gold Hidden Inside His Rectum
The 51 year old suspect who returned from Chennai ,India was concealed six pieces of gold weighing 600 grammes inside his rectum according to the custom officers.

Government Has Decided To Remove Leadership Training Course From The Universities -Minister Kiriella
The period allocated for leadership training will be used to teach international languages for the university students the Minister has said.
The leadership training for University Students prior to the commencement of their Degree Programme has been introduced to the University System by former Minister of Higher Education S.B Dissanayake who is also a Minister in this government.However due to the hectic schedule of that training most university students have complained on that to the authorities it has been reported.
UN Inquiry Report On Alleged War Crimes Against Sri Lanka Has Been Handed Over To The Government
The Sri Lankan government has received five days to response on the report in writing the Ministry has stated.The said UN Inquiry Report on Sri Lanka is due to be released to the public during the 30th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council scheduled to be inaugurated this Monday(15) in Geneva Switzerland.
The report and the Sri Lanka's response of it will be submitted to the Human Rights Council sessions at the end of this month it has been reported.The handing over of the UN inquiry Report on Sri Lanka to the local government prior to it's submission to human rights council sessions has done as a gesture of goodwill towards the government of President Maithripala Sirisene foreign ministry has said.
Meanwhile Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweere and Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Seneviratne are due to be attended the UN Human Rights Council Sessions representing Sri
Lankan Government.
A Woman Was Shot Dead By An Unidentified Gunmen At Jampatah Street
A Woman was shot dead this evening by two unidentified gunmen at Jampatah Street in Kotahena(Colombo Suburbs) according to Police.The Two Gunmen came from a motor bike have shot the woman Police have said.
The reason for the shooting or the suspects still not yet identified .However the Police have revealed that the husband of the deceased woman is currently in police custody over a murder case.
