Opposition MP Vadivel Suresh Appointed As President's Advisor
President Ranil Wikramasinghe has today(06) appointed the Samagijanabalawegaya (SJB) Party MP in Badulla District Vadivel Suresh as an advisor to the President .
Accordingly MP Suresh has been appointed as the President's advisor on the full integration of Upcountry Tamils into sri Lankan society.
A Private Bus Driver Was Sentenced To 12 Year Imprisonment
The Colombo High Court had sentenced the Private Bus driver who was found guilty of fataly running over three persons in 2007 to 12 years of Rigorous imprisonment today(06).
The Colombo High Court judge had delivered this judgment when the case was taken up for hearing this morning.
