Government Nursing Officers Had Withdrawn From Island Wide Health Strike

 Government Nursing Officers Association lead by Saman Ratnapriya had today (12) temporarily withdrawn from the Island wide Continuous Strike action launched by 18 Health Professions  last Monday (07) it has been announced .

Colombo District Court had issued two enjoining orders  last Thursday (10) for Nursing Officers Association and it's President Saman Ratnapriya preventing the continuation  of  Health Strike .Earlier the Trade union  leaders of the Health Professionals Confederation which organized the strike had stated that they didn't  receive enjoining orders the Court had issued ,

Another 23 Corona Deaths Reported Today (12)

 Another 23 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (12) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15.777 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 12 males and 11 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 18 were over 60 years of age .04 were belonged to 30-60 year age group and one was under 30 years of age it has been revealed .

1162 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (11)

At the moment 16,451 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated . 

Another 390 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals and quarantine centers today ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged up to now to 594,738 it has been reported .
