A Person Was Injured Due To Gun Shooting In Dikwella

 A Person was injured and hospitalized after two men arrived from a Motor car had fired gun shots at him and fled the scene yesterday (13) at Kumarathunga Road in Dematapitiya,Dikwella (Southern Province ).

The injured who was riding his Motorcycle at the time of the incident had been admitted to Matara Hospital with injuries.The reason behind the gun shooting incident has not yet been revealed and Police are investigating on the incident  

Legal Proceedings Underway To Reduce Medicine Prices

 The legal proceedings on  reducing the prices of  Medicine  at the local market with effect from tomorrow(15) are currently  underway according to the Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella.

Accordingly the 

of Medicine are due to be reduced by 16 percent with effect from tomorrow.

In future the Medicine prices will be reduced after reviewing them from every three months the Minister has stated .

Navin Dissanayake Appointed As The Governor Of Sabaragamuwa

 President Ranil Wikramasinghe had appointed the former Minister Navin Dassanayake as the new governor of Sabaragamuwa,Province yesteday (13).

He had replaced the

former Governor of the Sabaragamuwa Province Tikiri Kobbekaduwa who had resigned from the Governor post recently upon the request made by the president.
