President Made A Cabinet Reshuffle -Ministers Wimal Weerawanshe And Udaya Gammanpila Had Been Removed

 President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had made an urgent Cabinet reshuffle today (03) by removing the Ministry of Industries Wimal Weerawanshe and Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila from their Cabinet portfolios .

Accordingly Minister of Power Gamini Lokuge had sworn in as the new Minister of Energy and Minister of Transport Pavithra Wanniarachchi had sworn in as new Minister of Power before the President ,MP S.B Dissanayake had sworn in as  the new Minister of Industries it has been reported ,

Meanwhile Government MP's were reported as requested the President yesterday (02) to remove Ministers Wimal   Weerawasnhe ,Udaya Gammanpila and Wasudeva Nanayakkara from their portfolios with immediate effect due to their criticisms against the government ,

711 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (03)

 A total number of 711 Corona Positives had been reported today (03) In the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 648,410 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 22,638 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated , 

Only 5432 PCR Tests and 2896 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (02) according to Health circles .

Another 20 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (03)

 Another 20 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (03) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 16,287 according to Director General Of Health Services(DGHS) .

Accordingly 11 females and 09 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 18 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 20-60 year age group it has been revealed.
