Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thero Has Revealed A Planned Attack On Temples
As Police have suspected that an
attempt to attack a Temple may have behind the purchasing of Nine White blouse-skirt kits by three Burka clad females and a male from Giriulla Shop recently ,Venerable Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thero of Bodu Bala Sena Organization who is in remand has revealed last Monday(29) that an extremists are attempting to attack around 50 Buddhist Temples During Wesak season .
Therefore he had requested authorities not to organize Wesak and Poson festivals until this extremism has defeated completely .
He had made these remarks after attending a court case against him at Homagama Magistrate Court .Galagodaatte Theo has also requested the media personal to come to prison if they want to get more details on the issue .

A Motorcyclist Was Arrested Over Parking His Motorcycle And Making A Tense Situation Among Public
A tense situation had occurred due to
an Unattended suspicious Motorcycle which was parked near a shop at Thunkama town in Embilipitiya this morning (30) it has been reported.
After being informed by the residents in the area ,Police officers attached to Kuttigala Police have arrived at the scene and upon their request Army bomb defusal squad has made preparations to explode the Motorcycle without an owner.
However suddenly the owner of the Motorcycle had arrived in and Kuttigala Police have arrested him and taken in to custody his Motorcycle as well.

Fifty Nine Suspects Including Nine Females Had Been Arrested Over Easter Sunday Bombings
Fifty nine suspects had been so far
arrested over the Easter Sunday bombings and currently being questioned at Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and Terrorism Investigations Division (TID)according to Police Media Spokesman Superintendent Of Police (SP)Ruwan Gunasekare.
Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo this evening (29)Police Media spokesman has stated that 44 out of the 59 suspects including 07 females are being questioned in CID and 15 suspects including 02 females are being questioned at TID.
CID had arrested most wanted female suspect of the Easter Sunday Bombings Fathima Lathifa who is the wife of one of the Easter sunday bombers at Mawanella during the weekend he has stressed.

A Lawyer Filed A Petition At Supreme Court Against Government Over Not Avoiding The Easter Sunday Bombings

Kodithuwakku who is under three year career ban has today (29)filed a Petition at Supreme Court in hulftsdorf ,Colombo by claiming Government has violated peoples Humanatarian rights through not avoiding the Easter Sunday bombings occurred in Colombo and Batticaloa although an intelligence unit report received prior to the attacks.
In his petition Attorney At Law Kodithuwakku has named President Maithripala Sirisena ,Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasimghe ,Former Defense Secrerary Hemasiri Fernando ,Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapalshe and director of the Tellecomunication Regulatory commission as the respondents of the case.
The petitioner has requested the Supreme Court to issue a warrent ordering the government to pay compansations to those who were killed and injured due to the bombings

search of the Three females and a male who had purchased 9 white Blouse and Skirt kits from a Cloth shop at Giriulla prior to the Easter Sunday attacks which killed more than 250 persons and the Van they have arrived in.
Out of the 09 Blouse- Skirt kits purchased from the shop 04 had been missing whilst 05 were recovered during a search operation carried out by forces at the safe house in Seindumaridu ,Kalmunai following the suicide bomb blasts occurred there .

Curfew Re Imposed In Kalmunai,Chawalakade And Samanthurai Areas
Curfew again imposed in
Kalmunai,Chawalakade and Samanthurai areas (Eastern Province)from 6 p.m today(29)and will be lifted at 8 a.m tomorrow (30)according to Police.
Curfew was imposed in these areas since 5 p.m last evening (28)and has been lifted at 8 a.m this morning (29).This move has been taken to restore security in these areas following last friday's suicide bomb blasts occurred at a safe house in Seindumaridu,Kalmunai.
Due to the blasts and gun fire exchange between extremists belonging to Thowheeth Jamaath organization and Forces 15 extremists had been killed and two others had been injured and hospitalized .
The family members of the chief suspect of Easter Sunday attacks Mohommad Zahran Hashim were among those killled during the incidents .
Meanwhile it has been revealed that a group of around 15 who were killed due to suicide bomb explosions and gun fire exchange in Seindumaridu had arrived in Kalmunai from Ampara due to search operations carried out by government forces there.
However as the residents of the area have suspected their activities they have informed police regarding them which led to search operation carried out by forces in the safe house.
After learning that residents around had informed police on them the extremists had shouted at residents and told "We are fighting for you,But you were betrayed us".The extremists then thrown Rs.5000 notes towards the residents it has been revealed.

Intelligence Officials Have Recovered Female Cloth Kits Purchased For Attacking Religious Places
State Intelligence Unit officials had
recovered five out of the nine white color skirt and blouses kits purchased by banned Thowheath Jamaath organization to carry out a major attack targeting religious places in the island by using females at the safe house in kalmunai area raided by Forces last friiday(26).
The skirt and blouses kits had been purchased from a cloth shop in giriulla area it has been reported.

A Scooter Used By Suicide Bomber Who Attacked Zion Church ,Batticaloa Had Been Recovered

The indefinite Curfew imposed in Kalmunai and Samanthurai areas last Friday (26)following the suicide bombings has been lifted at 10 A.M this morning (28) and will be re imposed at 5 P.M this evening until further notice the Police Media Spokesman's Office has announced.Earlier Police have announced an indefinite Curfew in these areas since last Friday night .The situation in these areas brought under control the Police have stated.

in Slave Island Maulawi Mohommad Fahim and United National Party(UNP)MP of Colombo Municipal Council Mohommad Thajudeen who had been arrested by the Slave Island police over keeping 47 swords in the Mosque have been handed over to Colombo Crimes Division (CCD)yesterday (27)for further questioning.
The Maulawi of Slave Island Mosque had been arrested by the Police last friday evening(26) whilst keeping 47 swords under his bed during a search operation carried out there.
A suicide bomb kit and uniforms similar to that of Army uniforms had been also taken in to custody during the raid.
Police have arrested the UNP Municipal council MP Thajudeen yesterday over assisting the Mosque to purchase swords.The MP whomis the treassurer of Muslim Mosque Confederation has 10 Mosques under him.
Police are investigating on whether the MP has distributed money for those Mosques under him to purchase sharp objects .

MP's Have Requested President To Appoint Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka As Minister Of Law And Order

As Field Marshal Fonseka is the only MP of the government who is an expert on defense he should be given the Ministerial portfolio the letter has pointed out.
Government including Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe had requested the President last year also that Field Marshal Fonseka should be given the Law and order Ministerial portfolio .However president has turned a blind eye towards the request and kept the Ministerial portfolio under his authority.
