26 Buddhist Monks In A Temple At Wadduwa Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 Twenty six Buddhist monks and four  laymen  attached to the Ganewatte Temple in Delduwa ,Wadduwa had tested positive for ' Corona virus according to Wadduwa MOH Office.

Accordingly these  Buddhist monks and laymen had been  tested positive for Corona virus through the Rapid Antigen tests performed on them.it had been. Reported .

They  were later  admitted to an intermediate Treatment center for treatment .

1786 Corona Positives Had Been reported Today (30)

 Another 1786 Corona Positives had been reported today (30) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 259089 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 30,107 Corona positives are being treated at the Government hospitals and quarantine csngdf,

47 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (30)

 A total of 47 Corona deaths had been reported today (30) in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 3077 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 31 females and 16 males has died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications occurred due to the non communicable diseases they have suffered from caused by Corona infection the Center has stated .

Out of the deceased 34 were of the ages over 60 years it has been revealed .

Majority Of The Corona Positives Re[ported Yesterday (29) Were From Colombo District

 The majority of the Corona Positives identified yesterday (29) were from Colombo District according to Health Ministry ,Accordingly 348 Corona positives had been reported from Colombo District yesterday and the majority of them which is 45 positives were found from Narahenpita area and 30 positives each were reported from Awissawella and Meegoda areas .

Corona Positives were  identified from all the 25 districts in the island yesterday and over 100 Corona positives were identified from 04 districts it has been revealed ,
