Health Authorities had today(10) isolated three areas belonging to Borella Police Division with immediate effect and decided to lift the isolation imposed on Six Police Divisions and Areaas at Colombio and Gampaha from.5 a.m tomorrow (11).
Accordingly Gothamipura housing scheme ,24 watte ,and 78 watte in Gothamipura area at Borella police division had been isolated since this evening due to the surge of Corona cases .
Meanwhile Authorities have decided to lift the isolation imposed on Grandpass ,Maligawatte and Dematagoda Police divisions with effect from 5 a m tomorrow although many Corona cases are being reported daily in these police divisions .Authorities have also decided to lift the isolation imposed on Three areas belonging to Negambo ,Kiribathgoda and Wattala police divisions with effect from 5 a.m tomorrow (11)
Thirty five out of the sixty Special Police Task Force Personal attached to Presidential Secretariat at Colombo Fort who had undergone Rapid AntigenTests ,Had been tested positive for Corona virus .it has been reported .
Rapid Antigen Tests were performed on these Special. Police Task Force Personal after few of them had shown Corona symptoms it has been revealed ..
All these positives had sent to Kandakadu ,Punani and Kalutara Police Training School treatment centers for treatment .
Another 03 Corona Deaths reported in the country today (10) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 232 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center
Accordingly two males and a female resided at Negambo prison ,Colombo -14 and Ratnapura District had died due to the complications of the Non communicable diseases they have suffered from.as a result of the Corona infection .The deceased were of the ages 62,80 and 64 years it has been revealed .
