The price of a Kilo Gramme and 400 Grammes Milk Powder packs had been increased with effect from midnight tonight (30)according to Milk Powder Importers .
Accordingly price of A Kilo Gramme pack of Milk Powder had been increased by Rs.150 to Rs.1345 and 400 Gramme pack by Rs.60 to Rs.540 .

Canteen owners had decided to refrain from selling Milk Tea in Canteens as a result of increased prices of Milk Powder in the local market according to the All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association .
A cup of Milk Tea was sold in Canteens in the country for Rs.30-40 earlier and now it has been increased to Rs.60 the President of the Association Asela Sampath had stated ,
A 400 Gramme Milk Powder pack is currently being sold for Rs.540 and due to this price hike Canteen owners cannot increase the cup of Milk Tea further he has stated ,Now public need 2.5 US Dollars to purchase a 400 gramme Milk Powder pack he has further said .
A total of 18 Corona deaths had been reported today (30) Increasing the total number Corona deaths that had been reported so far to 14,962 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).
