Three School Girls Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Branch Of A Tree Collapsed On Them
Three small girl students attached to the Guruwela Primary school in Laggala area had been injured and admitted to the Dasgiriya Hospital after a branch of a Banyan Tree had collapsed in to the school building they were in last afternoon (03)it has been reported.
Laggala Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Issued A Court Order To The Anti SAITM Protest March
Colombo Fort Magistrate has issued a court order to the organizers of five day Anti SAITM Protest march due to enter Colombo Fort today(04) banning the protesters from entering to Government Institutes and blocking roads .
The five day Anti SAITM protest march began it's final day this morning from Kadawatha area.
A Heavy Traffic Reported In Colombo-Kandy Road This Morning After A Sign Board Collapsed On The Road
A heavy traffic had been reported this morning(04) for few hours near the Kelaniya Bridge on Colombo-Kandy main road due to a falling down of a Sign Board on the road as a result of colliding with a Container Truck.
The sign board had now removed from the road and the transport activities of the Colombo -Kandy road returned to normalcy according to the Police.

The five day Anti SAITM Protest march organized by
Anti SAITM Public Students Wall and Inter University Students Federation is due to reach Colombo this noon (04).
The protest march which begun in front of the University of Peradeniya last monday (31) schedule to begin from Kadawatha this morning and it will be reached Colombo Fort as it's final destination.
Medical /University students,Medical Faculty lecturers,some Artists and trade unionists are being participated this protest march launched by demanding to abolish the Malabe Private Medical Collage (SAITM)and to solve some other issues of the students.

Two Persons Stolen Money From A Bank With A Toy Pistol
Two persons who had entered a private bank in
Piliyandala with a toy plastic pistol and a black stone had stolen Rs.400,000 and run away according to the
police.

Supreme Court Has Extended The Court Ban Over Disposing Colombo Garbage To Muthurjawela
Supreme Court has today(02) extended the Court Order Imposed on banning disposal of Garbage Collected in Colombo to the Muthurajawela Reserve area until 21st of September.
Around 37 residents living in around Muthurajawela area had filed a petition in Supreme Court against disposing Colombo garbage to the Muthurajawela area by stating as the Muthurajawela area has been declared as a reserve,an environmental and health problems may have occurred due to disposing of garbage there.

Around 350 Patients Received OPD Treatment From The Neville Fernando Hospital Yesterday(02)
Around 350 patients have been received OPD Treatment free of charge from the Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital during yesterday(02) up to 7 p.m according to the sources.During opening day of the OPD/ Clinic treatment of the Hospital which is running under a Governing Board, on last Tuesday (01) ,around 186 patients have received treatment and drugs free of charge from the Hospital it has been revealed.
