 A total of 773 Corona positives had been discharged from Government hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (12)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly The total number of Corona Positives discharged from hospitals and treatment centers after full recovery so far is  66984 the unit has stated .

936 Corona. posivea And 05 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (12)

 A total of 936 Corona positives. And 05 Corona deaths had been reported today (12)in the country according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center  

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported so far had been increased to 74,056 and the total number of Corona deaths had be05en increased to 384 the Center has stated .Although some of the Corona positives reported these days are being  infected with new UK varient of Corona virus ,Covid -19 prevention center has stated that all the positives reported today had been identified from Paliyagoda cluster .

Five males resided at Kotagala ,Mathugama ,Kotahena ,Colombo 08 and Colombo -12 had  died today (12) due to the complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered from the Epidemeologist had stated .

The deceased  were of the ages 63,79,69,59 and 49 years .it has been revealed 

At the moment 6680 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .

Corona positives infected with the new contagious uk Variant of the Corona virus have been found from Colombo ,Awissawella ,Biyagama and Vavuniya areas according to Dr Chandima Jeewandara the Director of Institute of Allergies ,Immunity Sciences attached to University of Sri Jayawardanapura ,Kotte .

These Corona positives infected with the new UK Corona variant (B-117 UK were identified through a genetic test conducted on 92  samples collected from them between mid January to upto now  Dr jeewandara has stated
