Isolation Imposed In Eight Areas In Colombo District Had Been Lifted Since This Morning (28)-Another Two Areas Had Been Isolated

 Isolation imposed in Eight areas in Colombo District including three Police Divisions had been lifted and another two areas in the District had been isolated  with effect from 5 a.m this morning (28)according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly Isolation imposed in Dam Street ,keselwatte and Maradana Police Divisions along with Wekanda and Hunupitiya Rural Development Officers  Area (Grama Niladari Wasam.)in Slave Island Police division ,Halgahawatte and Kalipullawatte areas in Borella Police Division, Laksanda Sevana housing scheme in Wellampitiya Police Division  and  ,Mayura place in Wellawatta had been lifted since 5 a.m this morning due to the controlling of the corona pandamic .

However  Isolation had been imposed in Hulftsforf West and Hulftsforf East Rural Development Officers areas in Keselwatte Police division which was earlier lifted it had been announced .

668 Corona Positives Had Been Reported

A total of 668, Corona Positives had been reported yesterday (27) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 41,054 accordi

ng to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly all the Corona positives reported yesterday were contacts of the Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons Corona Clusters the center has stated .So far a total of 37,360 Corona positives had been reported from the above clusters it has been announced 

At the moment 8162 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals and treatment centers .

Four Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (27)

 Another 04 Corona deaths reported yesterday (27) in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 191 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center

.

Accordingly 03 females and a male of the ages 66,,75,78 and 52 resided in Pitakotte ,Ragama ,Kadawatha and Vavuniya areas have died due to Complications of non Communicable diseases suffered by them as a result of Corona infection .

These  deaths had been occurred whilst receiving treatment at Homagama Base,Mulleriyawa Base and Anuradhapura Teaching hospitals .
