The new Minister of Law and Order which many have expected should be handed over to the former Army Commander Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka and secretary of the Governing United National Party Kabeer Hashim was given the ministry of Education and Highways during a minor Cabinet reshuffle made today (25).
Altogether six Cabinet Ministers ,Three State Ministers and a Deputy Minister had sworn in before the President Maithripala Sirisena at President's House this noon (25).
Accordingly Prime Minister was appointed as Minister of Law and Order,Kabir Hasheem as Minister of Higher Education and Highways,The former Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayake as Minister of Youth Affairs and Southern Development,Harin Fernando as Minister of Digital Infrastructure and Foreign Employment,Lakshman Kiriella as Minister of State Enterprises and Kandy Development ,Ravindra Samaraweera as the Minister of Wild Life ,Piyasena Gamage as State Minister of Youth Affairs and Southern Development,Ajith .P.Perera as State Minister of Prisons and Rehabilitation ,Dr.Harsha De Silva as the State Minister of National Policies and Economic affairs and J.C Alawathuwala as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.
The Cabinet Reshuffle for United Peoples Freedom Alliance Ministers will be made during next two weeks according to the reports.
