MP Vijayakala Maheswaran Was Questioned For Three Hours Over Her Controversial LTTE Favored Speach
Police Organized Crimes Investigations
Division officials have questioned former State Minister of Women and Child affairs Vijayakala Maheswaran around three hours yesterday (24)over a LTTE favoured speach she was made at a State function held in Jaffna recently.
The former State Minister was questioned at her office in Jaffna last evening under the supervision of A Police Inspector it has been revealed.
Government has also conducting an inquiry over the MP Maheswaean's controversial speach on LTTE .The Former state Minister and Jaffna MP had resigned from her Ministerial Portfolio following the incident.

Health Minister Instructed The Director General Of Health Services To Inquire In To An Incident On Refusing To Admit Three Critically Injured Persons To A Rural Hospital

has Instructed the Dirctor General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe to inquire in to the non admission of three critically injured persons of a same family to the Thammannawa Rural Hospital in Anuradhapura as a result of not having a Doctor in the Hospital recently.
The Minister has instructed the Director General Of Health Services to investigate the incident and submit a report to him within two weeks.
The three criticallu injured persons of a same family ,A father,Son and Mother who had injured due to a road accident had been transported to the Mihintale Hospital after refusing to adnit to the Thammannawa Hospital and on the way the father and son had succumbed to their injuries it has been reported.
The Mother was later admitted to the Anuradhapura General Hospital for treatment.

Accordingly two female sex workers attached to the Brothal House of the ages 46 and 17 who are residents of Anamaduwa and Kadawatha areas along with the 47 year old female laborer who had been maintained the Brothal house and lives in Diyathalawa have been arrested by the police.
The female laborer that was arrested during the raid is attached to the staff of the Defense Faculty in Diyathalawa it has been revealed.
The suspects are due to be produced before the Bandarawela Magistrate Court.
