Two DIG'S And Seven OIC's Had Been Transferred

 Two Deputy Inspector Generals Of Police (DIG) and 07 Officers in charge (OIC )had been transferred with immediate effect based on service requirement the Sri Lanka Police have announced today (28).

Accordingly 02 DIG'S and 07 Officers in Charge(OIC ) of Mulleriyawa ,Gothatuwa ,Poththapitiya ,Pallewela ,Monaragla ,Ethimale and Weeragula Police Stations had been transferred based on Service Requirements .

President Appointed A 13 Member Presidential Task Force To Study "One Country -One Law " Concept

 President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had yesterday (27) appointed a 13 member Presidential Task Force to study the implementation of the concept "One Country - One Law " and to prepare a draft legislation regarding it .

The General Secretary  of the Bodu Bala Sena Party Venerable Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thero had been appointed as the head of this task force .

An extraordinary Gazette Notification has been issued to establish the 13 member Presidential Task force .

22 Corona Deaths Reported Today (28)

A Total of 22 Corona Deaths had been reported today (28) increasing the total number Corona deaths had been  reported so far to 13,696 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS)

Accordingly 13 females and 09 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated

.Out of the deceased 21 were over 60 years of age and 01 were under 30 years old it has been revealed . 

Another 540 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (28)

 Another 540 Corona Positives had been reported today (28) ,Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 538,860 according to Epidemiology Unit . 

At the moment 13,301 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and Under Home care system the Unit has stated ,

During Yesterday (27)  5459 PCR Test and 3940 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed the Health promotions Bureau has stated .

7487 Corona Positives Had Been Recovered And Discharged Today (28)

 Another 7487 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and Quarantine Centers today (28) according to the Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly 511,863 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and Quarantine Centers so far the Unit has stated ,
