Another 350 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals today (23)according to the Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona Positives that had been recovered and discharged from hospitals so far had risen to 503,090 the Unit has stated .

New Health Guidelines Had Been Issued To Religious Places

The Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) Dr .Asela Gunawardane had issued health guidelines for Religious Places throughout the island including Temples and Churches given permission to hold Religious observances with the participation of maximum 50 devotees .

Accordingly the heads of the Religious Places are responsible for conducting Religious observances by adhering to health guidelines the DGHS has announced .

DGHS had also announced that only Weddings are being allowed to organize under current circumstances and holding of other parties and functions are strictly prohibited .

553 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (23)

A Total number of 553 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (23),Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 535,529 according to the Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 18,846 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .

Another 19 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (23)

Another 19 Corona deaths had been reported today (23) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,593 according to the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 10 Females and 09 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .
