Jaffna Magistrate Court Has Remanded 11 Army Personal Over Missing Of Two Persons In Jaffna

Jaffna Magistrate Court has remanded 11 Army Personal until 24th of October in connection with   missing two persons in Achchuweli Area at Jaffna.

Jaffna Magistrate Court has remanded another five Army Personal on 26th of September regarding the same allegation.

The 16 Army Personal were remanded under the court case filed by relatives of the two missing persons in Jaffna against 16 Army Personal attached to the Achchuweli Army Camp.

India To Supply 500 Mega Watts Of Electricity To Sri Lanka

India plans to supply 500 Mega Watts of Electricity to Sri Lanka through a network of sub sea cables the Indian Media has reported.

India is currently supplying Electricity to Bangladesh,Nepal and Myanmar and imports electricity from Bhutan.

India Plans To supply electricity to Sri Lanka as well earlier but due to the lack of technology available then and the high Cost it didn't work it has been reported.

According to the Foreign Media putting cables under the sea is cost effective then burying cables in land.

Twenty Eight Drug Manufacturing Companies Agreed To Manufacture Essential Western Drugs In Sri Lanka- Health Ministry

Twenty eight  Foreign Drug Manufacturing  Companies from Russia,India and Israel have applied to manufacture essential western drugs locally in Sri Lanka the Health Ministry Has revealed.

Out of these Drug Companies two Companies from Russia and India had already signed an agreement with the Health Ministry regarding manufacturing of both western and Ayurveda Drugs here the Ministry has stated.

Accordingly those two companies are due to invest US Dollars 10 million for manufacturing esential drugs here and they are due to  begin manufacturing process of Drugs  here. after building drug manufacturing  plants in twelve months time it has  been revealed,

Health Minister Has Requested The Government Hospitals Not To Misuse The "Stents" Issued Free Of Charge

Minister of Health,Nutrition and Indigenious Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has instructed the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala to issue a special circular to all government hospitals performing heart surgeries by stating not to misuse the "Stents"issued by the Health Ministry free of charge.

The Health Ministry will be  in alert to see whether the Hospital Staff are using the "Stents" issued to them free of charge for the benefit of Heart Patients the Minister has stated.

The Medical Supplies Division has begun issuing a stock of 500 "Stents " receieved by the Division to govrrnment hospitals which performing heart  surgeries in one  and half weeks ago.

One Person Was Killed And Two School Children Were Injured Due To A Train-Three Wheeler Collision At Kurunagala

One person was killed and two school children were injured and hospitalized this noon following the Three Wheeler they were in collided with a train at the unprotected rail way crossing in Araliya Uyana area at Kurunagala (North Western Province).

The two injured school children were admitted to the Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for treatment.

The Three Wheeler which the deceased and two injured were in collided with a train travelling from Colombo to Jaffna according to the Wallawa Police.

The accident occurred as the three workers recruited to the unprotected railway crossing not reported for work today.

UPFA MP Jayantha Samaraweera And Sarath Weerawansha Were Further Remanded

The imprisoned  United Peoples Freedom  Alliance(UPFA) MP Jayantha  Samaraweera and  Sarath  Weerawansha  the  brother of  UPFA MP Wimal Weerawansha had been further remanded today(10) by the Colombo Fort Magistrate  over the charges of  misusing  state owned Vehicles during the previous government.

Both suspects were further remanded until 24 th of October.

Colombo Fort Magistrate has also ordered the media spokesman of the National Freedom Front and former MP Mohommad Muzammil to appear before the court on 24 th of October over the charges of misusing of state vehicles during  the previous  government.

MP Namal Rajapakshe Has Filed A Court Case Against FCID

More Than 70 Persons Including School Children Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Bus Accident In Agarapathana

Image result for accidentOver  70 persons mostly School Children were injured and hospitalized this morning following the Private Bus they were traveling in fallen a deep narrow valley at Agarapathana area(Central Province).

The injured were admitted  to the Agarapathana Base Hospital and most of the injured were discharged later as they have received minor injuries it has been reported.

The bus driver and five adults too there among the injured according to sources.

The accident has occurred as a Result of a technical difficulty of the Bus the sources have stated.
