Govt .Hospital Patient Care Services Paralysed Due To a Trade Union Action Of Nurses

 Patient care services at Government hospitals had been collapsed  due to the two day sick note  Campaign launched by Government hospital nurses yesterday (01) demanding solutions for their long standing service demands  .

Accordingly many routine surgeries in theaters are being delayed due to the ongoing sick note Campaign of nurses it has been reported .

Nurses are due to continue with their sick note Campaign today (02)as well according to three nurses unions who had launched the trade union action ,Public Services Nurses  Union ,Government Nursing Officers Union and All Ceylon Nurses Union .

43 Corona Deaths had Been Reported Today (01)

 Another 43 Corona deaths were reported today (01) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 3120 according to National Covid +19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 27 males and 16 females had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered from.caused by Corona infection the Center has stated .

Majority of the deceased were of the age over 60 years it has been revealed .

1815 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (01)

 Another 1815 Corona positives had been. Reported today (01) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 260,972  according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 30,055 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers the Center has stated .
