29 Corona Positives Mainly From Kandakadu Corona Cluster Had Been Reported Today (13)

A total of 29 Corona positives mainly related to the Corona Cluster related to the Kandakadu D

rug Rehabilitation Center ,had been reported in the island today ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 2646 according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 27 out of the 29 Corona positives reported in the country today were related to Kandakadu Corona cluster the unit has stated. There are 02 arrivals from Maldives who were tested positive for the Corona Virus today .

At the moment 654 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals.

Meanwhile today there are no.corona positives that recovered and discharged from hospitals and even yesterday (12)only one  corona positive had been recovered and discharged from hospital.

So far 1981 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals after full recovery. 

Three Zones Of Rajanganaya Area In Anuradhapura District Are Being Locked Down Due To Corona Spread

Three zones belonging to the

Rajanganaya in Anuradhapura District are being locked down due to the identifying of several Corona positives from those Zones Health Ministry has announced.

Accordingly Zones 01,03 and 05 of the Rajanganaya area are being locked down .Two more Close contacts of the first Corona positive reported from the area related to Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center had tested positive for Corona virus today .

Under the lockdown people in the  three zones cannot going out of these zones and no one from outside can visit these areas it has been announced.
