Seven Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (06)

Seven Corona Positives had been discharged from government hospitals today (06) after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals so far had risen to 3266 the unit has stated .

101 School Children And Teachers Of A School In Gampaha Tested Negative For Corona Virus

A total of 101 members of the school

attended by the female student who had tested positive for Corona virus recently ,had been tested negative for Corona virus according to the Public Health Inspector of the area .

Accordingly 43 Students of the class of the Corona positive student who is a daughter of the Corona positive female reported from Brandix Apparel Factory in Minuwangoda area and 58 teachers and non academic staff members of the school who were undergone "PCR "tests had been tested negative for the virus .

Around 1500 students of the school are being quarantined by Health officials of Gampaha District.

Total Number Of Corona Positives Belonging To Brandix Corona Cluster Has Risen To 832

A total of 832 Employees attached to

Brandix Apparel Factory in Minuwangoda area had been tested posotive for Corona virus up to midnight today (06)according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 729 Brandix Apparel Factory Workers had been tested positive today (06) and another 103 including relatives of the workers had been tested positive for the virus yesterday (05)..

Meanwhile 10 Foreign arrivals had also tested positive for the Corona Virus today.

At the moment due to the Corona cluster at Brandix factory the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country has risen to 4252 the unit has stared.

A total of 973 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals at present .

Acting Director General Of Health Services Has Banned All Public And Private Gatherings Until Further Notice

Services Dr.S.Sridharan had today (06)banned holding all kinds of public gatherings in the country including public /Private functions ,SeminaRs, lectures, Musical shows ,Exhibitions ,Carnivals ,Marches and processions with immediate effect until further notice in view of avoiding the spreading of Corona virus in the society.

All public and professional activities in the country should be carried out these days according to the updated Anti Corona health guidelines published in Health Ministry website the Acting Director General Of Health Services has stated .

Government Requested All With Fever To Seek Medical Treatment

Government has today (06)requested

all living in Sri Lanka who got fever to seek treatment from the nearest gocernment Hospital with immediate effect due to the large Corona Cluster detected in Brandix Apparel Factory at Minuwangoda area .

Those who do not follow this directive will face stern action it has been announced .

Government Requested Brandix Apparel Factory Workers In Minuwangoda To Self Quarantine

Government had requested all

employees attached to the Brandix Apparel Factory in Minuwangoda area (Gampaha District )where the large Corona Cluster has been detected ,and their family members to stay at home without going outside.

This request has been made to avoid the spreading of Corona virus in the society through them if they are infected with it government has stated .This request was apply to all workers at the factory lives in various parts of the country .
