A Store In Hungama Contains Contaminated SALT Had Been Sealed l
The stock of Salt recovered from the store was foind as contaminated and the stock was taken in to custody by the PHI's while attempting to load it to a Lorry.
The sealed store was previously used as a Salt Manufacturing Plant it has been revealed.
A Person Was Shot And Killed By Two Gunmen
A 65 year old Person had been killed
due to a gun shooting incident opposite a shop at Yatiyana junction this evening(05).
The deceased who was a resident of Minuwangoda area had been shot and killed by two unidentified gunmen arrived in by a Motorcycle according to Police.
The reason behind the killing has not yet been revealed.

A Person Was Arrested While Attempting To Fly To Belgium With A Fake Passport
A Jaffna resident had been arrested
today (05) by the Immigration and Emigration officials while attempting to fly to Belgium with a Fraudulent Malaysian passport at the Katunayake, Bandaranaike International Airport .
The suspect who had returned to the Island from Singapore this morning had been arrested while attempting to fly to Belgium from the fake passport it has been revealed.
During the questioning the suspect has revealed that he had collected the passport at a Plane which he travelled..

Three Youth Who Had Fallen Sick At A Hotel.In Wadduwa Had Died
Three youth out of the four persons
who had fallen sick during a Musical Concert held in a Hotel at Wadduwa Beech last night (04) and hospitalized have died today (05) it has been reported .
Earlier of the day two youth of the ages 20 and 36 years old have died after being admitted to Panadura Base Hospital and another youth has died this evening according to reports.Another youth who.is in critical condition is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
All four had fallen sick while consuming liquor and evidence were found that the deceased youth had taken narcotics as well Police have stated.
The three youth had died after their body temperatures and the functioning of the heart increased rapidly .
Police have launched an investigation on the incident and post mortems of the youth are due to be conducted by Panadura Assistant Judicial Medical Officer.
