The Ministry of Health has decided to launch an Islandwide survey on the Medical equipments currently used by all Government Hospitals throughout the island numbering 1016.The aim of this survey is to minimize the inproper way of distribution of the Medical equipments to hospitals and to collect data on foreign and local medical equipment donations to the government Hospitals.Health Ministry estimates around 80,000 Medical Equipments which are foreign and local donations are currently use by the Hospitals without inform on these donations to the Ministry.
