Police Have Arrested Fifteen Students Regarding The Clashes Occurred In Colombo
Borella and Maradana Police Stations arrested 15 students regarding the
clashes occurred among student groups in Ananda ,Nalanda and D.S Senanayake collages in Colombo this afternoon .
Police have recorded statements from the arrested students regarding the clashes occurred in Maradana and Borella areas after the school today.(15).Due to the clashes five vehicles including a motor car and a Sri Lanka Transport Board bus had been damaged it has been reported.
Eight Students were injured and hospitalized due to the Clashes and their condition is not serious according to sources.
Special Police teams had been deployed in Maradana and Borella areas after the incident.The causes behind the student clashes not yet been revealed.

Cabinet Approved A Proposal To Import 40,000 metric Tonnes Of Coconut Oil To The Country
Cabinet has approved a proposal on importing 40,000 metric tonnes of
Coconut Oil to reduce the escalating prices of Coconut Oil in the local market.
Cabinet has also decided to revise the special commodity tax imposed on imported Coconut Oil .The decision has been taken as a short term measure of reducing the escalating prices of Coconut Oil in the market the Cabinet Spokesman, Minister Gayantha Karunathilake has stated during the Cabinet Press Briefing held in Colombo today (15)

A Heavy traffic is being reported from around Thummulla area (Colombo) at present due to a protest march organized by the Students Union of Colombo University .

A 20 Year Old Youth Was Killed Due To A Motor Cycle-Bus Collision
A 20 year old youth was killed due to a Motor Cycle-Bus collision occurred at Palmadulla area on Colombo-Badulla main road this morning(15).
The accident has occurred while a Sri Lanka Transport Board Bus traveling from Balangoda to Palmadulla area trying to over take a Three Wheeler it has been reported.
The deceases has been identified as a resident of Palamadulla area and Police have arrested the Bus Driver regarding the accident.

Six Students Of Three Leading Collages In Cololmbo Hospitalized Following Clashes Among Student Groups
Six students belonging to Three leading Government Schools in Colombo namely Ananda,Nalanda and D.S Senanayake were injured and hospitalized this evening (15) due to a clashes occurred between few student groups it has been reported.

Nineteen Passangers Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Bus Collision In Kandy
Nineteen Passengers were injured and hospitalized in Gatambe at Kandy today(15) following a collision of two Buses .
The injured three of them critically were admitted to the Kandy Teaching Hospital for treatment.
The accident was occurred when a Bus traveling from Yahalathanne to Kandy collided with a Bus travelling Kadugannawa to Kandy it has been revealed.
Kandy Police have arrested the two drivers of the Buses.
