Two Motorcyclists Were Killed Due To Motorcycle-Van Collision
Two Motorcyclists were killed after the Motorcycle they were travelling in Colliding with a small Van at Putupagala area on Kirindiwela-Delgoda main road in Gampsha district (Western Province) yesterday(04) according to the Police.
The deceased were identified as a 42 year old male and 45 year old female resided in Radawana area .Police have arrested the Van driver regarding the incident .
Kandy -Mahiyanganaya Road Closed Due To An Earth Slip
The Kandy -Mahiyanganaya Main road near the 14 th Hair pin bend of the 18th Hairpin Bend( 18 Wanguwa) in the Central Province had been temporarily closed down last evening (04) due to an Earth slip occurred in the area according to the Police.
The Earth slip has occurred as a,result of the bad weather prevailing in the area the Police have stated.Police have advised the Motorists to use an alternative routes when travelling .
Litro Gas Prices Will Not Increase For This Month
The Litro Gas Company has decided not to increase the Price of Litro Gas for this Month the Company has announced.
Although the Price of Litro Gas need to be increased on 05th of March according to the Fixed Price formula ,It will not increase this month due to the strengthening of Sri lankan Rupee against Us doller the Litro Gas company has announved.
