Death Toll Due To Adverse Weather Conditions Risen To 73-Disaster Management Center
The death toll occurred due to an adverse weather conditions in Sri Lanka has risen to 73 by yesterday (21) afternoon according to Disaster Management Center(DMC).
Around 278,528 persons have been displaced due to the adverse weather and staying in 497 camps established throughout the island the DMC has stated.

Sri Lanka Receievd Flood Relief Aid From India And Japan
Two Flights carrying a large stocks of relief aid for flood and landslide victims in Sri Lanka have arrived at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Air Port from India and Japan last night and early this morning..
Accordingly the flight arrived from Japan brought Electric Generators and Water Refinery Machines for the use if flood victims.

Exit And Entry Points At The Southern Expressway's Athurugiriya Interchange Have Reopened
The exit and entry points at the Athurugiriya Interchange of Southern Expressway which closed down due to the adverse weather conditions have opened today(21) for motorists according to Road Development Authority(RDA).
The Athurugiriya Interchange was closed due to the floods and inundating roads in Athurugiriya and surrounding areas the authority has stated.

Sri Lanka Army Concluded The Search Operations Carried Out At Landslide Site In Bulathkohupitiya
Sri Lanka Army had today (21)concluded the search operations began to find survivors of the landslide occurred at Kalupahanawatte ,Bulathkohupitiya Area in Kegalle District last Tuesday(17).
During the search operations Army Personals have recovered 14 bodies and 2 human body parts buried under the landslide site.
However still 16 persons were reported as missing due to the landslide.The rescue operations to find missing persons were hampered last few days due to the prevailing bad weather conditions.

Another Landslide Strucked Aranayake In Kegalle District
Another landslide has occurred today (21)at Aranayake in Kegalle District (In Central Province) where two landslides had occurred few days ago according to the National Building Research Organization(NBRO).
The latest landslide has occurred in Berawila Mountain and no casualties have been reported so far from the landslide site the NBRO has stated.
Due to an earlier landslide occurred in Aranayake few days ago around 300-400 persons have feared to be dead and 140 persons still reported as missing it has been reported.
