376 Sri Lankans Stansted At Four Countries Arrived Sri Lanka Today (23-)
A total of 376 Sri Lankans stranded at
Australia, Kenya ,Malaysia and Qatar due to Corona pandamic had arrived at Katunayake and Mattala International Airports this morning (23) by special flights.
Accordingly a special flight carrying 239 Sri Lankans stranded at Australia had arrived at Mattala International Airport from Sydney ,Australia, Another flight with 83 Sri Lankans aboard, A flight with 35 Sri Lankans from Malaysia and 19 Sri Lankans from Qatar had arrived at Katunayake International Airport this morning.
"PCR "tests performed on all these Passangers at the Airports and later they were transported to nearby hotels Untill receiving test results.

Fifteen Corona Positives Had Been Discharged Yesterday (22) And Today (23)
A total of 15 Corona positives had been
recovered and discharged from hospitals both yesterday (22)and today (23) according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly 09 Corona positives had been discharged yesterday (22) and 07 were discharged today (23) increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals so far to 2805 the unit has stated.

Six Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (22)
A total of 06 Corona positives had been
reported in the country yesterday (22)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 2947 according to Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly out of the six Corona positives reported yesterday ,02 were arrivals from Chennai, India 02 wete artivals ftom Kuwait and one positive each from United Arab Emirates and United States the unit has stated .
At the moment 134 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

Twelveth Corona Death Reported From Sri Lanka Last Night (22) The First After Two And Half Months
Twelveth Corona death in Sri Lanka has
been reported midnight last night (22)as a 47 year old Female arrived from India recently has died from corona infection at Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Angoda .
Accordingly the female who is a resident of Mawathagama area in Kurunagala who returned to Sri Lanka recently had been transferred to IDH Hospital from Iranawila Treatment Center at Trincomalee in critical condition with breathing difficulties breathig and died whilst receiving treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU )of the IDH Hospital.
She had suffered from Heart ailment ,Cancer ,Diabetes and High blood preassure and died due to the complications arisen after inferring Corona virus the Director of IDH Hospital Dr.Hasitha Attanayake has stated.
This is the first corona death reported from.Sri Lanka in two and half months as the eleventh Corona death has been reported in first week of June.
