 A Total of 816 Corona positives had been reported today (05) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 266,499 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center

.

At the moment 28,321 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and treatment centers the Center has stated .

The number of Corona positives reported in the country had decreased today as a result of the low number of "PCR " tests performed due to the ongoing strike of Professions supplementary to medicine and Para medical officers it has been reported ,

PSM And Para Medics Had Launched A Continuous Island Wide Strike Paralyzing Hospital Services And Performing "PCR " Tests

 Due to the sudden Island wide strike launched by Professions supplementary to Medicine and Para medical services officers last Saturday (03rd0 morning issuing of drugs to OPD Clinic patients ,Radiography tests ,Lab tests and EEG /ECG tests had been paralyzed according to the Hospital sources ,

Patients are facing enormous difficulties due to this strike launched by 13 trade unions representing Professions supplementary to medicine and para medical services including public health inspectors and  ,midwives ,

Even the number of daily "PCR " tests performs are being reduced and sending Corona positives to treatment centers too being paralyzed as a result of the strike it has  been revealed ,
