Mirihana Narcotic Flying Squad Detained A Female With A Stock Of Heroin In Her Possession

Image result for detainedThe Mirihana Special Narcotic Flying Squad has today(14) detained a female with two grammes and two hundred mili grammes of heroin in her possession at Madiwela Area.

The suspected female was detained according to the information received from her and she is due to be produced before Nugegoda Magistrate Court.

Colombo Magistrate Has Today(14) Ordered The Authorities To Further Remand The Seven Indians Who Were Detained Over The International Kidney Racket

Image result for kidney racketThe Colombo Magistrate Court has today(14) ordered to remand the seven Indian Nationals who were detained as they have proved their involvement in Kidney Racket operated between Sri Lanka And India upto 22nd of this month.

The Colombo Crimes Division had detained 08 Indian Nationals recently at Wellawatta Area(In Colombo)in connection with  the kidney racket operated between Sri Lanka and India and one suspect had been escaped from detention recently.

Recently the Colombo Crimes Divisions has informed the Court that through a medical examination it has been revealed that  out of the 08 detained Indians kidneys of  06 Indians had been removed for the racket.

FCID Has Questioned Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella Regarding An Ongoing Investigation

The former United peoples Freedom Alliance(UPFA) Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has given a statement to Financial Crimes Investigations Division(FCID) today(14) regarding the ongoing investigation on allocation of  Rs.200 million from Presidential Fund as the medical expenses of him.

The FCID has earlier questioned former presidential secretary Lalith Weerathunge and deputy minister Ranjan Ramanayake on the same incident.

Customs Officers Have Detained A Stock Of Narcotic Drugs Believed To Be Cocaine At Orugodawatte Container Yard

The Customs Officers attached to Orugodawatte Container Yard  have been recovered a stock of narcotic drugs believed to be Cocaine stored inside of a container  which arrived from Brazil it has been reported.

The stock of narcotic drugs which wrapped in three bags and stored inside the container weighed 91 kilo grammes and the value of the stock not yet been estimated.

Sri Lanka Customs Officers had handed over the drug stock to Police Narcotic Bureau for further investigations.
