8155 KG Of Waste Tea Had Been Taken In To Custody Whilst Transporting

Special Police Task Force officers had today (18) arrested two persons with 8155 Kilo Grammes of Waste tea in possession  whilst transporting it from Gampola to Colombo by a Lorry it has been reported ,

The two suspects who are residents of  Gelioya area  were handed over to the Yakkala Police for further investigations ,The suspects are scheduled to be produced before Gampaha Magistrate Court ,

84 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (18)

 Another 84 Corona deaths had been reported today (18) according to t he Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) ,

Accordingly the total number of Corona deaths reported so far in the country had been increased to 12,022 the DGHS has stated ,51 females and 33 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced ,Out of the deceased 58 were over 60 years of age and 23 were belonged  to the age group 30-60 it has been revealed .Three of those died were under 30 years old ..

1983 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (18)

 Another 1983 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (18) increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 502,758 according to Epidemiology Unit,

At the Moment 59,700 Corona Positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and Under home care system it has been revealed ,
