Police officers attached to Criminal Investigations Department (CID) had arrested the Opposition MP Ridhad Baduidedn who was in hiding during Last few days at Dehiwala area (Colombo ) over misusing of public funds according to the Police .
Accordingly CID officers had detained another seven persons including a specialist lady doctor attached to South Colombo Teaching Hospital and her Engineer Husband who had. Given accomadation for MP Baduidednn and transport him from Kalubowila to Dehiwala .
Meanwhile MP Baduideen had been remanded until 27 th of October by the Colombo Fort Magistrate after been produced before the court this noon .
CID had used six police teams to arrest MP Baduideen it has been revealed .
