Three Persons Along With Nine Thousand Liters Of Artificial Toddy Taken In To Custody In Marawila
Excise Department officials have today
(27)taken in to custody around 9000 Liters of Artificial Toddy along with three Persons who had disturbed the search operation of officials at Thal Vila and Muhudukatuwa areas in Marawila.
The officials have also taken in to custody a large number of Barrels and Tanks which utilised to store Toddy from the site .
The estimated value of the Artificial Toddy taken in to custody is around Rs.1.2 million it has been revealed .
The Three suspects are due to be produced before Marawila Magistrate Court on 04th of September.

AG Filed Indictments Against Former Chief JMO In Colombo Over Destroying Evidence Of Thajudeen s Murder
Attorney General Dappula De Livera
had today (27 ) filed indictments at Colombo High Court against Former Chief Judicial Medical Officer(JMO) in Colombo Dr.Ananda Samarasekare over destroying an important evidence related to the murder of former Rugger player Wasim Thajudeen .
The indictments against Dr.Samarasekare had been handed over before the Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne .
Afterwards Colombo High Court Judge had released Dr.Samarasekare on two surety bails of Rs. One million each and a cash bail of Rs.25,000 .
The lawyer appear before Dr.Samarasekare had informed the Court that he is expecting to submit an objection against the case filed against his client .

Another Two Activists Of Banned National Thowheed Jamaath Organization Had Been Arrested

Police Division had arrested another two activists of Banned Extremist group National Thowheed Jamaath Organization and members of Jammathe Millathe Ibrahim who had recieved Arms training with Chief Easter Sunday attacks suspect Mohommad Zahran at Ampara today (27).
The two suspects who are residents of polgolla and Mawanalla areas had received arms training in Nuwara Eliya and Hambanthota camps with Zahran it has been revealed .
The two suspects had been arrested accordance to the information provided by State Intelligence Unit office in Ampara .

A Tamil Youth Arrested Over Attempting To Fly France From Fraudulant Passport And Visas
Immigration and Emigration officials
attached to Katunayake Airport have this morning (27)arrested a 31 year old Jaffna based Tamil youth whilst attempting to fly France via Dubai through fraudulant passport and visas at the Emigration section of the Katunayake Airport.
The suspected youth had indicated that he is flying to Maldives ,But attempted to fly France by an Emirates flight it has been revealed.
He had prepared his passport which owned by a Youth in Kaththankudy, Batticaloa by deleting the owners details through a chemical Immigration and Emigration officials have said .
However the officials have recovered this fraud when they have checked the documents possessed by the suspect due to suspicion .
The documents possessed by the suspect had been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID )attached to the Airport for further investigations.

Government Radiographers Union Requested DGHS To Take Action Against Bogus Radiographers In Private Hospitals
Government Radiographers Union had
requested the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS)Dr.Anil Jasinghe yesterday (26)to take an action against hundreds of unregistered Bogus Radiographers attached to Private Hospitals as their presence will affect the Radiography Tests badly .
These Bogus Radiographers do not have basic qualifications to become a Radiographer and even not registered under the Sri Lanka Medical Council accordance to The Union Secretary DharmaKeerthi Epa.
However these Bogus group.of Radiographers in Private Hospitals have recently form a union amd even raised funds for it he has stressed .
Attorney General himself had confirmed that Bogus Radiographers will be harmful to the society during a court case against a bogus Radiographer of one of the leading Private hospitals Union Secretary has further added.

Several Ministers Have Criticized Minister Rauf Hakeem Over Not Taking Over Batticaloa CAMPUS To The Government
Several Cabinet Ministers have
criticized the activities of Minister of Urban Development and Higher Education Rauf Hakim over delaying the taking over of controversial unregistered Batticaloa Campus to the government it has been revealed.
Those Ministers have criticized Minister Hakeem over not taking any step to taking over the Batticaloa Campus to the government although Parliament Education Unit Select Committee had recommended to do so according to reports .Minister is purposely delaying the implementation of the recommendation by appointing committees to looking after the matter they have stated.
By delaying the taking over of the Campus will lead to another protest similar to that of Anti SAITM Protest Minister of Megapolis Chanpika Ranawake had stressed .
