174 ,985 Persons Had Been Received The Second Dose Of Astraseneca Anti Corona Vaccine During Yesterday (I02)

 Out of the little more than 540 ,000 persons who are required to be received the second dose of the Oxford-Astrasenenca " Anti Corona vaccine 174 ,985 persons had been received it up to yesterday (02) according to Epidemiology Unit ,

Altogether 422,472 persons had been received the first and second doses of Corona vaccines during yesterday .Up to yesterday 73.6 percent of the Sri Lankan adult population had been received at least a single dose of a Corona vaccine and 17,4 percent of the Adult population had received the both doses of Corona vaccine the Epidemiology Unit has stated

Minister Of Agriculture Had Been Tested Positive For Corona Virus -Minister Of Energy Too Under Quarantine

 Minister Of Agriculture Mahindanada Aluthgamage had been tested positive for Corona virus today (03) through a "PCR " test conducted for him it has been reported ,Accordingly Minister and his close contacts including his family members and Ministry officials are being currently under house quarantine it has been revealed ,

Steps had been taken to disinfect the Ministers office at the Ministry Of Agriculture it has been reported .

Meanwhile Minister Of Energy Udaya Gammanpila is also being under house quarantine from today as few of his Ministry officials were tested positive for Corona virus it has been stated ,The Ministry Of Energy had been closed until this Friday (06) due to the situation ,

74 Corona Deaths Reported Today (03)

 A Total of 74 Corona deaths had been reported today (03) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported in the country to 4645 according to Director General Of  Health Services ,This is the highest number of corona deaths reported in Sri Lanka on a single day according to health Ministry ,

Out of the deceased 48 were males and 26 were females it has been revealed ,56 of the deceased were over 60 years old and 17 were of the ages 30-59 according to reports .One of the deceased was less than  20 years old .

 

2423 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (03)

Another 2423 Corona positives had been reported today (03) increasing the total number of Corona positives  reported  so far to 316,219 according to Director General Of Health Services ,

At the moment 28,878 Corona Positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Treatment centers ,
